This Refund Policy outlines our procedures and guidelines regarding refunds, returns, and cancellations. By making a purchase through our website or services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Digital Products and Downloads
2.1 Photography Tutorials and E-Books
Due to the nature of digital products, we generally do not offer refunds on photography tutorials, e-books, and other downloadable content once the purchase is complete and access has been granted. However, we recognize that exceptions may be necessary in certain circumstances:
- If you have not downloaded or accessed the digital content, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
- If the digital product is substantially different from its description or contains significant technical issues that prevent its use, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement within 14 days of purchase.

2.2 Presets and Editing Tools
Photography presets and editing tools are non-refundable once downloaded. Before purchasing, we recommend:
- Reviewing sample images showcasing the presets in use

3. Photography Services
3.1 Deposits and Booking Fees
To secure photography services, we require a non-refundable deposit or booking fee. This fee serves to reserve your session date and begins our preparation process. The specific deposit amount will be clearly stated in your service agreement.
3.2 Cancellation Policy for Photography Sessions
Our cancellation policy for photography sessions is as follows:
- More than 30 days before the scheduled session: Full refund of any payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
- 15-30 days before the scheduled session: 50% refund of any payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
- Less than 15 days before the scheduled session: No refund will be issued.
In cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer to reschedule your session instead of processing a refund.
3.3 Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances may require rescheduling your photography session. Our rescheduling policy is as follows:
- More than 14 days before the scheduled session: You may reschedule once at no additional cost, subject to availability.
- 7-14 days before the scheduled session: Rescheduling is subject to a £50 rescheduling fee.
- Less than 7 days before the scheduled session: Rescheduling is subject to a £100 rescheduling fee.

3.4 Satisfaction Guarantee
We take pride in our photography services and strive to exceed your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied with your photography session results, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your images to discuss your concerns. We may offer:
- Additional editing of your existing images
- A partial refund
- A complementary mini-session to capture additional images
Please note that artistic style, composition preferences, or changing your mind about location/outfit choices are not grounds for refunds.
4. Physical Products
4.1 Prints, Albums, and Merchandise
For physical products such as prints, albums, and merchandise:
- Damaged or Defective Items: If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damage. We will replace the item or provide a full refund including shipping costs.
- Returns of Non-Defective Items: Non-defective items may be returned within 14 days of receipt if they are in their original, unopened condition. A 15% restocking fee may apply.
- Custom Products: Custom-designed products, including personalized photo albums, custom prints, and specially ordered merchandise, are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or with production defects.

4.2 Shipping Costs for Returns
Unless the return is due to our error or a defective product, you are responsible for the cost of shipping items back to us. We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure the safe return of your items.
5. Online Courses and Workshops
5.1 Live Workshops and In-Person Events
For live workshops and in-person events, our refund policy is as follows:
- More than 30 days before the event: Full refund, minus a £50 administrative fee.
- 15-30 days before the event: 50% refund.
- Less than 15 days before the event: No refund available.
You may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost by notifying us in writing at least 7 days before the event.
5.2 Online Courses
For our online photography courses:
- We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, provided you have not completed more than 25% of the course.
- To request a refund, please email [email protected] with your order number and reason for requesting a refund.
- Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.
Lifetime access and subscription-based courses have different refund terms, which will be clearly stated on the specific course sales page.
6. Memberships and Subscriptions
For our photography community memberships and subscription services:
- Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time. No refunds are provided for the current billing period, but no further charges will occur.
- Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a prorated basis within the first 30 days of purchase, minus a £25 administrative fee.
- After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but will remain active until the end of the billing period.

7. Gift Cards and Certificates
Gift cards and certificates for ThicketPath Photography products and services:
- Cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded
- Are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified
- May be transferred to another person
- Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen unless proof of purchase is provided
8. Processing of Refunds
When a refund is approved:
- We will process the refund to the original payment method used for the purchase
- Processing time is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed
9. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In cases of serious illness, family emergency, or other extraordinary situations, we may consider exceptions to our standard refund policy on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required.
For events canceled by ThicketPath Photography due to instructor illness, severe weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.
10. Statutory Rights
This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are based in the UK or EU, you have certain rights under consumer protection laws that cannot be limited by this policy.
